RR Watch: Heroes Sucked … (Again!)

I’m getting tired of no real growth in the stories and characters in NBC’s Heroes. We’re given unnecessary cliff hangers segments (before the commercial breaks), instead of providing us with excellent stories that warrants cliff hangers. Last week, I fell asleep watching Heroes’ season premiere. That’s doesn’t say much about the show, and maybe more about me.

So I watched the second episode that aired last night, and then I realized that I didn’t miss anything from the season premiere (episode). I don’t watch a lot of television, but I do try to catch Heroes whenever I can. They need to move the stories along and give these heroes some growth. I’m tired of Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) whining all of the time and having no real connection to three a dimensional character, and I’m definitely tired of (Masi Oka) Hiro Nakamura’s bamboozle presence and voyage through Japan. It’s embarrassing to watch an interesting show turn itself into a self-parody.

Please Tim Kring stop supervising the writers, and dive into the writing ASAP, and give your occasional viewer like myself, real stories with real characters that happen to have super-hero powers.
