RR Watch: Filmmaker Garth Jennings’ Son of Rambow

Synopsis: Set in the ’80s, a coming of age comedy about two young English boys who are inspired after seeing Rambo: First Blood to make a Rambo movie of their own. Will is the eldest son in a family with a strict moral and religious view and has never been allowed to mix with other people, listen to music or watch TV. That is until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter, the school terror and maker of bizarre home movies.

Neil Dudgeon, Jessica Stevenson, Jules Sitruk, Will Poulter, Bill Milner, Anna Wing, Ed Westwick, Adam Godley, Adam Buxton and Eric Sykes star in Son of Rambow. It’s written and directed by Garth Jennings (The Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy).

American actress Angelina Jolie might sell her pregnancy news to a media outlet and give the proceeds to charity. Ms. Jolie is not only an Oscar winner, but also a smart, charitable person. Congrats to Brad Pitt and Ms. Jolie, if this is true.
