Blake Lively shoots director Rebecca Miller’s The Private Lives of Pippa Lee while on Gossip Girl hiatus. Ms. Lively plays the teenage Pippa Lee, and Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner’s Plan B Entertainment is producing the film.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee is based on a novel and is about a dutiful housewife, Pippa Lee (Robin Wright Penn), explores her buried sensuality after her husband falls for a younger woman.

The principal photography began on 04/19/2008 and ends on 06/10/2008.
