Filmmaker Cameron Crowe won’t be replacing deceased director Sydney Pollack on Shockprooof Sydney Skate – based on Marijane Meaker’s novel – as previously thought, instead Crowe will direct Ben Stiller and Reese Whitherspoon in a romatic comedy for Amy Pascal at Columbia Pictures.

Synopsis of Shockproof Sydney Skate: In the summer before his first year of college, a young man falls in love with a female model, but unfortunatly his ad exec mother is smitten with her, too.
