Terence Koh Remembers Dash Snow

The Chinese-Canadian artist Terence Koh [asianpunkboy] is performing a four-hour nightly piece at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester [England] as part of Marina Abramovic’s still-life showcase in Manchester Festival. In Koh’s art-installation, he lies on the floor in crushed pearls shirt and powered-covered face and feet. Kohn changed his accompany Nat King Cole’s Mona Lisa tune to Suicide’s Cheree honoring and in remembrance his best friend – Dash Snow – who died on Monday.

According to NYT’s The Moment, Koh’s email explains Cheree, stating that It is for one of my best friend’s Dash and that is our favorite song together and we used to dance to it together. The Manchester Festival ends on Sunday, July 19.
