Where The Wild Things Are – Maurice Sendak Featurette

When I saw Neill Blomkamp’s District 9, the theater previewed a featurette of Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are with author Maurice Sendak’s thoughts on Jonze’s vision and adaptation of his beloved children book, and I suspect the video footage was part of Tell Them Anything You Want documentary. Now the theatrical featurette is available online, thanks to Empire Online.

Tell Them Anything You Want is a new HBO documentary about author Maurice Sendak directed by Lance Bangs and Spike Jonze, which airs on Monday, October 14 on HBO.

Where The Wild Things Are arrives in theaters on Wednesday, October 16 and Spike Jonze [Adam Spiegel / Richard Koufay] is repped by Bryan Lourd @ Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
