Robert Pattinson Humps Vanity Fair

The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Robert Pattinson graces the cover and pages of Vanity Fair December 2009 issue, and here are excerpts from the promotional Q&A –

Bruce Weber

On Robert Pattinson’s hotel room @ San Diego Hard Rock Hotel: is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor.

Twilight’s director Catherine Hardwicke describes Pattinson in the evening as: always drunk [playing his guitar in his hotel room, and says] What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination.

Pattinson says about Stewart: She’s influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything. It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country, and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’

On co-star Kristen Stewart is even more emphatic: “It’s so r*****,” [she says]. We’re characters in this comic book.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits theaters on Friday, November 20. Robert Pattinson is repped by Stephanie Ritz @ William Morris Endeavor and Kristen Stewart is repped by Ken Kaplan @ The Gersh Agency.
