The über-curators of Roberts & Tilton and Yael Lipschutz are showcasing a kick-arse exhibition by auteur Barbara McCullough titled Shopping Bag Spirits & Freeway Fetishes: Reflections On Ritual Space. The opening reception will occur on Saturday, May 22 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm and remain on view [w/ artist Ellen De Meutter’s Writings On The Wall] until Saturday, July 3. Filmmaker Barbara McCullough will screen the 60-minutes 1979 documentary pertaining to the role of ritual in art with commentaries by David Hammons, Senga Nengudi and Betye Saar.
