Last night – Saturday, September 25 — The Los Angeles County Museum of Art [LACMA] honored dedicated museum patrons Lynda and Stewart Resnick at an exclusive preview of Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion during a black-tie “unmasking” gala dinner. The single-story Resnick Pavilion is another component of LACMA’s ongoing transformation which unifies its western wing. At the Resnick cocktail reception, the guests stroll through the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano designed Pavilion and then proceed to a tented-venue dinner with musical performance by Grammy® Award-winning artist Christina Aguilera. The event’s proceeds will benefit LACMA’s “special exhibitions and programs.” The pop-iconic guests included Kim Kardashian, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Molly Sims, Joan Collins, Teri Hatcher, James Franco, Tracey Ellis Ross, Nicole Richie and Olivia Wilde.
