The Carmichael Gallery is pleased to announce Breach of Privacy ~ an extraordinary group exhibition ~ featuring the über-works of Yasmine Chatila, Hilo Chen, Adam Krueger, Alyssa Monks and Jaclyn Santos. These Gotham artists pieces span a disparate range of media, yet coalesce to represent compelling explorations of voyeurism in its shifting states of ecstasy, release and isolation.

Alyssa Monks
Through exhilarating photorealistic oil paintings, hauntingly subtractive mixed media works and candid black-&-white photography, each artist fashions their own unique voyeuristic allegory, some oblique while others are candid. Eventhough, all are bound by a bittersweet philosophical thread that delves far deeper than that which is externally revealed.

Hilo Chen
There will be an opening reception for Breach of Privacy on Saturday, May 21 at 6:00 through 8:00pm with Adam Krueger in attendance. The Breach of Privacy will remain on view until Saturdday, June 11.
