Interview Magazine: Marc Jacobs. It is not that long ago that was Marc Jacobs to meet for about 57 hours clocked closely at the invitation of Peek & Cloppenburg in Berlin to the finalists of the contest designer for Tomorrow. We met the American designers in the wood-paneled room of a private club, located next to a pompous marble fireplace, in front of a pack of Marlboro Lights.

Andy Warhol’s Black & White @ Prism

Gallerists PC Valmorbida and Jared Najjar’s Prism will exhibit the non-collusive works of Andy Warhol appropriately titled Black & White, with an opening reception on Friday, June 4 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The private collection of Black & White will remain on view until Sunday, June 27.

Andy Warhol @ BMW Art Car

Andy Warhol’s hand-painted 1979 BMW M1 art piece along with three others by artist Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Rauschenberg went on display at Grand Central Terminal yesterday. Warhol was quoted as saying that “I adore the car. It’s much better than a work of art.” The public installation exhibition at Grand Central Terminal ends on Monday, April 6 and then on a three-museum tour in Mexico.

Hugh Grant sold his Andy Warhol’s 1963 Elizabeth Taylor pop portrait at Christie’s in New York for $20.6 million. He bought the portrait at auction at Sotheby’s six years ago for $3.6 million.
