Lily Allen – The Fear @ The City

Lily Allen’s new album titled It’s Not Me, It’s You drops on Tuesday, February 6th, and in the meantime you can enjoy her smash single’s music video – The Fear – below. You can also hear The Fear on MTV’s The City tonight.

Lily Allen’s Smile is featured in director Ken Kwapis’s He’s Just Not That Into You, which opens in theaters on Friday, February 6.

Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ginnifer Goodwin, Drew Barrymore and Ben Affleck star in He’s Just Not That Into You, and it’s about a group of interconnected, Baltimore-based twenty- and thirtysomethings navigate their various relationships from the shallow end of the dating pool through the deep, murky waters of married life, trying to read the signs of the opposite sex–and hoping to be the exceptions to the “no-exceptions” rule. Gigi just wants a man who says he’ll call–and does–while Alex advises her to stop sitting by the phone. Beth wonders if she should call it off after years of committed singlehood with her boyfriend, Neil, but he doesn’t think there’s a single thing wrong with their unmarried life. Janine’s not sure if she can trust her husband, Ben, who can’t quite trust himself around Anna. Anna can’t decide between the sexy married guy, or her straightforward, no-sparks standby, Conor, who can’t get over the fact that he can’t have her. And Mary, who’s found an entire network of loving, supportive men, just needs to find one who’s straight.

Lily Allen is repped by Paradigm.

Ben Affleck @ Congo Refugees Camps

Oscar winning screenwriter Ben Affleck visits refugee camps in Kibati, Goma (located in eastern war-torn Congo) to raise aid money to help 250,000 people displaced by recent fighting between the Congo army and fighters loyal to rebel leader Laurent Nkunda.

On Congo: I’m really glad that more people are paying more attention to (Congo) now but I’m really saddened that it’s taken this uptick in violence to make that happen. My hope in being here is primarily to bring attention to the fact that there’s a real lack of (aid agencies) here, a real lack of money going to these folks.

Karel Prinsloo / Associated Press

On becoming aware of Congo, when Hollywood’s focus began on Darfur: I thought a lot of people are advocating on Darfur. I’d just be a very small log on a big fire. I started getting interested in Congo and I thought, this is a place where I can have a really big impact. I think that, for better or worse, people with some profile in the arts have some currency to spend as celebrities. And for a time, I didn’t spend that in any particularly productive way. And I got to a point where I thought, this is wasteful.

Ben Affleck is repped by Boomer Malkin and Patrick Whitesell @ Endeavor, attorney Sam Fischer @ Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca, Fischer, Gilbert-Lurie, Stiffelman, Cook, Johnson, Lande & Wolf and publicist Ken Sunshine @ Sunshine, Sachs, and Associates.
