Frankenweenie. Tim Burton. Trailer.

From creative genius Tim Burton — “Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas” — comes Frankenweenie — a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life–with just a few minor adjustments.

He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

Maya Rudolph @ Away We Go – Trailer

I adore actress Maya Rudolph’s work in Atlman’s Prairie and Arteta’s Chuck & Buck and her forthcoming honesty in Greenfield-Sanders & Mitchell’s documentary Black List, to name a few, and thought she was capable of doing so much more as an untaped dramatic actress with underlying heart-breaking humor with sorrow. Apparently, director Sam Mendes is a fan as well because she stars in his new summer film – Away We Go.

Maya Rudolph is repped by Elyse Scherz @ Endeavor. Away We Go formerly known as The Farlanders and This Must Be the Place arrives in theaters Friday, June 5.
