The trailer for director Joel Schumacher’s Twelve narrated by Kiefer Sutherland and stars Emma Roberts, Chace Crawford, Ellen Barkin, Rory Culkin, Curtis [50 Cent] Jackson and Zoë Kravitz is out now. Enjoy below.
via /Film – Based on the critically acclaimed novel by Nick McDonell, written when he was only 17 years old, Twelve is a chilling chronicle of privileged urban adolescence on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Set over spring break, the story follows actor Chace Crawford’s White Mike, a kid with unlimited potential, who has dropped out of his senior year of high school and sells marijuana to his rich, spoiled peers. When his cousin is brutally murdered in an east Harlem project, and his best friend is arrested for the crime, White Mike is hurled on a collision course with his own destiny.
There aren’t any US release dates, but Twelve hits Germany on September 9 and Finland on October 15, 2010.

Ed Westwick on roommate/co-star Chace Crawford: I made out with a girl in public. Maybe I need to have sex in public with a woman. That one’s still on the list. Still haven’t ticked that one off. Well, I have, but they haven’t seen me. Not George Michael public. It’s funny because I love this f***ing dude dearly. I would die for this f***ing dude. He’s my brother. But, by God, we are so into our f***ing women it’s ridiculous.

Here’s an exceprt for the fans of the show:
“It really does feel like we’re living the show sometimes,” says Penn, who for the record is pretty much exactly like Dan, all cheekbones and philosophical musings. “The psychology of celebrity is such a weird and new thing,” Dan—Penn—says of the cast’s sudden notoriety. “I think the last time people treated anybody else like this was demigods like in the time of ancient Greece.”
