The honchos – Harvey & Bob – of Weinstein Company are pushing Rob Marshall’s new musical – Nine – and have released a third third movie trailer. Enjoy the trailer below. Nine rolls into New York and Los Angeles theaters on Friday, December 18 and everywhere else on Christmas Day – Friday, December 25.

Director Rob Marshall of Chicago – winner of six Academy Awards – returns to the big screen with another classic Broadway production. The musical tells the story of world famous film director Guido Contini [Daniel Day-Lewis] as he prepares his latest picture and balances the numerous women in his life including his wife [Marion Cotillard], a producer, a mistress [Penelope Cruz], a film star muse [Nicole Kidman], an American fashion journalist [Kate Hudson], the whore from his youth [Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson], his confidant and costume designer [Judi Dench], and his deceased mother [Sophia Loren].

The film is inspired by Fellini film – story focuses on a film director stuck in neutral as he tries to make a movie while haunted by the demands of all the women in his life, including a wife, mistress and even his deceased mother.

Nicole Kidman shoots her driving scenes with Daniel Day Lewis on the set of Director Rob Marshall’s Nine on location in Rome, Italy. The $80 million budget film co-stars Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Fergie, Ricky Tognazzi, Giuseppe Cederna, Valerio Mastandrea and Martina Stella. The film is based on the Tony award winning musical Nine from a book by Arthur Kopit with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston.
