Director Tom Hooper delivers the first-look trailer of his screen adaption of Les Misérables with cast — Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter. The drama-musical hits theaters on Friday, December 12.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption—a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Savage Grace stars Julianne Moore, Stephen Dillane, Hugh Dancy, Eddie Redmayne and Elena Anaya; it’s written by Howard A. Rodman based on Natalie Robins and Steven M.L. Aronson’s novel.

Synopsis (IMDB): The true story of the beautiful and charismatic Barbara Daly, who married above her class to Brooks Baekeland, heir to the Bakelite plastics fortune.
