The Art of Elysium is a non-profit organization founded in 1997, which encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. The organization is dedicated to enriching the lives of critically ill children via the arts.

Art of Elysium is hosting the 6th annual Pieces of Heaven Art Auction to benefit the fine arts program — Elysium Project. To preview and bid on the 2013 auction works, visit Paddle 8.

Online bidding opened on Friday, February 1 and will be available on Paddle 8 until Wednesday, February 20 at 12:00pm EST. Online bids will transfer to the live event on Wednesday, February 20 auctioned by Christie’s Los Angeles at Ace Museum.

Artist This Means Mar shoots a trailer of artist Gregory Siff’s upcoming solo exhibition — Matter of Time — of new paintings, works on paper and sculpture.

Matter of Time is an examination of fame, idolatry, memory, determination, kingship and heart. Gregory’s half-whispered thoughts are painted out in full roars on found material, handmade panel and canvas.
