Director Tom Hooper delivers the first-look trailer of his screen adaption of Les Misérables with cast — Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter. The drama-musical hits theaters on Friday, December 12.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption—a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Hugh Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert [Russell Crowe] after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s [Anne Hathaway] young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

Roman Polanski. A game – a thought – that through friendship and mutual respect has become true. When I was asked to shoot a short movie for Prada, I did not think that I could really be myself, but the reality is that in the total freedom I was given, I had the opportunity to reunite my favorite group of people on set and just have fun.

The chance to dwell on what the fashion world represents nowadays and the fact that it is accompanied by so many stereotypes is fascinating and at the same time a bit upsetting, but you definitely can not ignore it.

It’s very refreshing to know that there are still places open to irony and wit and — for sure — Prada is one of them.

The Disney Enterprises Inc. release Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland‘s 1st look trailer of his highly anticipated film – which hits theaters on Friday, March 5, 2010. In Burton’s 3D live action film, Mia Wasikowska’s Alice, 17, attends an upscale party at a Victorian estate and finds out she’s about to be proposed to in front of snooty socialites. Alice takes off, following a rabbit into a hole and re-discovering Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before without any recollection of it.

Producer Richard Zanuck talks to USA Today and reveals a few tidbits of Director Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland – its 40 days shoot and how this is not your momma’s fairy tale. And here are pix of Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter’s Red Queen and Anne Hathaway’s White Queen.

Warner Brothers has release the first look pix of director David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Young wizards Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are facing new challenges and dangers in the wake of Lord Voldemort’s return in the sixth movie of the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theaters on November 21.
