Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men

The New York Film Critics Circle named Joel and Ethan Coen’s No Country for Old Men as best picture. Javier Bardem was awarded best supporting actor and Joel and Ethan Coen won best direction and screenplay adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel.

No Country for Old Men was previously honored as best picture by the National Board of Review, the Boston Society of Film Critics and the Washington, D.C.’s Area Film Critics Association.
