Max Neutra @ The Standard’s Rooftop Pool

I just got home from a long day, hanging out and oogling friend and artist Max Neutra’s paintings at Eddie Vela’s My Everyday Shop event @ The Standard Hotel’s rooftop pool in Downtown Los Angeles. I’ve mentioned Max Neutra on prior postings and it’s worth repeating – grab his pieces now in this recession, they are must-have paintings. Glitz & Grime’s Exhibit Lands @ Vanguard

I attended and saw another great show by artists Glitz & Grime [G&G] at their massive Project Ethos exhibition held at Vanguard @ 6021 Hollywood Boulevard. G&G delivered once again and shot beyond their definition of “a mixed media art group and collaborative trio that incoroporates digital design with physical material such as paint, light, sparkles and paper mache”.

Glitz & Grime

Glitz & Grime has climbed onto my list of must-have art work and on par with the likes of true artists: Max Neutra, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, Oscar Ramirez, Kehinde Wiley, Michael Page, Jason D’Aquino, Carlos Servando Hernandez, Gary Palmer David Buckingham and some of my other fave [collections].

Reserve Result (RR)

Thanks again to the trio artists of Glitz & Grime and special thanks to Brandon [one-third of G&G trio] for the tix and considerable hospitality. To purchase and roam through Glitz & Grime’s extensive art work, visit their GlitzandGrime.com site now.

Glitz & Grime

In this recession, there’s no better time than now to store up on luscious arts at great prices, and Glitz & Grime [G&G] should be on top of your acquiring list of collection.

The Los Angeles artists and sculptors Paul Torres, Rick Simpson, Rebecca Molayem, Ted Meyer, Jabari Elliottt, Gary Palmer, G. Wahl, Kay Gott and Max Neutra exhibit their aw-inspiring pieces at We the People exhibition @ The Loft at Liz’s. I went to support my buddy Max Neutra and mingle with other art-philes, but ended up loving all of the pieces and meeting a fellow university-alumni Carlos Servando Hernandez. Check out Hernandez incredible paintings @ LosInVenice.com.

We the People exhibition ends on Tuesday, March 31. The spacious gallery is located @ 453 S. La Brea Avenue – and 6th Street – in Los Angeles, California 90036, above Liz’s Antique Hardware.

I really wanted the piece below, sorry the artist’s name escapes me right now, but I couldn’t afford the mixed-medium on hardwood work. =(

The Los Angelino artist Max Neutra painted live during the opening night reception held on Saturday, February 21. Thanks Max Neutra and Liz for our invitation.

Artist Max Neutra @ Beauty Bar

Last night, Los Angeles artist Max Neutra had a live painting exhibition at Beauty Bar during DJ Loli featuring MC Jamain album release party, and his work is mind-blowing, so I had to research Max Neutra and post samples of his artwork here. Max Netura’s talent is evident and worth every penny the cost of his paintings.

Max Neutra @ Decadence OC Weekly

In Max Neutra’s article profile in LA City Beat, he’s quoted as saying When it comes to animals, admits Max. I focus more on the beauty than on the grotesque. Man grosses me out more than a giraffe does. They’re innocent. Man has a choice, and the thing I struggle the most with is humanity.
