Madonna ~ W.E. [Feature Film]

In the September 2011 Issue of Vanity Fair, Tom Munro photographs Andrea Riseborough as Wallis Simpson and James D’Arcy as King Edward VIII in Madonna’s period-piece W.E. The film hits theaters on Friday, December 9.

In W.E., the twice-divorced American Wallis Simpson and King Edward VII have a doomed romance, and contemporary New Yorker, Abbie Cornish’s Wally adores Oscar Isaac as Sotheby’s Security Guard Evgeni.

W.E. will premier out of competition at the 68th Venice International Film Festival.

Alejandro Amenábar’s Agora – 1st Look Trailer

The Chilean director Alejandro Amenábar of Thesis, Abre Los Ojos, The Others, and The Sea Inside is back with a new film – Agora about an Egyptian slave who turns to Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while falling in love with his master, a philosopher and atheist. Agora trailer is here and the film stars Rachel Weisz, Ashraf Barhoum, Oscar Isaac, Homayoun Ershadi, Max Minghella, Yousef Sweid, Sami Samir, Rupert Evans, Michael Lonsdale, Richard Durden, Omar Mostafa and Oshri Cohen.

Agora opens in Spain on Wednesday, September 2 and scheduled to be shown @ Toronto International Film Festival’s Gala Presentations on September 10-19.
