Oscar winner Ron Howard and Jake Szymanski direct The Hills star Heidi Montag in Funny or Die‘s Heidi Montag Says No to Plastic. The Public Service Announcement spoof depicts Heidi Montag speaking out about the pitfalls on paying for plastic surgery with one’s credit card.

According to People – The Heidi Montag Says No to Plastic video is part of a series launched by the Americans for Financial Reform that will urge, among other things, massive call-in days throughout the week to push Congress toward, among other measures, forming a strong and independent Consumer Financial Protection Agency.

Jackson, Forest Whitaker, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cedric The Entertainer, Morris Chestnut, Clifton Powell, Alex Thomas, Tatyana Ali and Bill Bellamy.

Directors Guild of America – Nomination

The Directors Guild of America nominated directors Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire), David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Ron Howard (Frost/Nixon), Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) and Gus Van Sant (Milk) for 2008’s outstanding achievement in directing.

The winners will be announced on Saturday, January 31st.

Tom Hanks @ Angels & Demons – 1st Look

Tom Hanks returns to his Da Vinci Code‘s Robert Langdon character – to try to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave – in producer Brian Grazer and director Ron Howard’s Angels & Demons.

Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Stellan Skarsgard, Kristof Konrad and August Fredrik co-star in the big screen adaptation of author Dan Brown’s first novel on Robert Langdon series.
