It’s directed by Hype Williams with cameos by Ron Howard, Quincy Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Forest Whitaker, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cedric The Entertainer, Morris Chestnut, Clifton Powell, Alex Thomas, Tatyana Ali and Bill Bellamy.

Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez @ Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president Leron Gubler honored Clifton Collins Jr.’s late grandfather – Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez – with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1555 Vine Street in Hollywood, California. Samuel L. Jackson, Leandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, Clifton Collins Jr., Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jason Statham attend the ceremony.

Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes @ Soul Men – Trailer

Bernie Mac and Samuel Jackson star in director Malcolm Lee’s Soul Men film, and here some preview clips with Isaac Hayes’ cameo appearances.

Soul Men is a story of two remaining members of the popular soul band, The Real Deal, from the 1970’s, Floyd Henderson, now a retired businessman, and ne’er-do-well, ex-convict, Louis Hinds, take a road trip to the Apollo Theater for a musical tribute to their recently deceased front man, Marcus Hook. As they travel cross country in a series of adventures and misdventures, they air old grievances about thirty year old betrayals and learn the music’s still in them.

Soul Men opens in theaters on November 14.

Frank Miller’s The Spirit – Trailer

Frank Miller’s The Spirit new trailer is finally out, and looking like a companion piece to Sin City. The Spirit stars Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Thomas King, Paz Vega and Eva Mendes, and hits theaters on December 25. It’s based on Will Eisner’s celebrated 1940s comic book – The Spirit.

Synopsis: A detective prevents an attempt to release a substance that will leave the citizens of Central City in suspended animation. He is exposed to the goo, which gives him the ability to withstand any beating. He battles crime and a slew of femme fatales.
