Bruce Willis Humps W

The thespian Bruce Willis graces the cover and pages of W with beautiful model and wife – Emma Heming – to promote his new science-fiction film – Surrogates – directed by Jonathan Mostow. The W issue hits newsstands on Tuesday, June 23.

Surrogates is set in not-so-distant futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact vicariously through surrogate robots. The film rolls into theaters nationwide on Friday, September 25.

The Sci-Fi motif pix spread was shot by pixer Steven Klein and here are excerpts from the candid interview:

On prioritizing his marriage over his blockbuster career: I hear so many people in relationships say, ‘I just need a couple of days away, or even an hour away.’ But I don’t want to be away from Emma at all. It’s the most singular relationship I’ve ever had in my life.

On marrying wife Emma Heming: I went from ‘F— love’ to ‘Love is truly the answer. I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, ‘I’m alone, but I’m not lonely.’ But I was just kidding myself. Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier.

On his daughters and Demi & Ashton Kutcher: We’ve become like a tribe. It’s generated a lot of interest because everyone can understand resentment and envy in the breakup of a marriage, but they don’t understand how I can get along with my ex like that. Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we’re really lucky that it turns out we all have fun together. I still love her, and I have a lot of respect for how she lives her life.

Alex Rodriguez Humps Details

The New York Yankees 3rd baseman graces the cover and pages of April issue of Details, shot kissing himself at a mirror, crunching against a maitress and faux weeping. The interview titled Confessions of a Damned Yankee, arrives on newsstands Tuesday, March 24. And here are some excerpts:

On the public keeping a track record: We live in a world right now where everyone’s keeping score. And it doesn’t stop when the games end…They’ve crossed over. And you have the Internet stuff, and all these phones…It’s very intense.

On living in NYC: New York is one of a kind. It’s made me ask all the tough questions. It’s brought out the best in me. There are some things I have to work on. And that part is fun. Revealing the truth about yourself is always good.

On Madonna: Well, we’re friends…I have a lot of respect for her…She’s very smart and she’s passionate about everything she does…if there ever was any situation, she’s a great ear to have, you know?

Madonna Humps W @ 46 Pages

In Rio de Janeiro, Steve Klein shoots Madonna Ciccone and model Jesus Luz in a stunning 46-page W March 2009 issue of faux-film spread titled Madonna: Blame It On Rio, and this is the third collaboration between Meisel and Cicccone, previously 2006’s Madonna Rides Again and 2003’s Madonna Unbound.

The Madonna: Blame It On Rio embodies the motif of “…a powerful, sexy woman and her boyish plaything…” and elevates W ever-growing pix of high-concept artistic photos. W seems to be leading the pack as the place to go for the likes of Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna’s artistic endeavors.

Madonna is repped by Bryan Lourd and Rick Hess @ Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and the W March 2009 issue is on newsstands now.

Shia LaBeouf Humps Details

Indy 4 star Shia LaBeouf delves into his personal life with Details magazine for his September 2008 cover issue, which hits newsstand on Monday, August 5. Here’s an excerpt from the foreshadowing interview:

On ending one of his and his father’s bonding rituals: We would drink together and smoke together, and it’s just a bad deal. It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model—no iconic actors that I know of have problems like that. And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink.

Madonna Humps Interview

Madonna poses for Interview April issue, illuminates Malawi issues and promotes her album – Hard Candy.

Steven Klein

Madonna on adopting her son David: He wouldn’t have lived if I hadn’t taken him. It’s not even a possibility.

Madonna on bringing daughter Lourdes with her to Malawi: She spent several weeks working in the orphanages, particularly one with newborn children, and most of them were HIV-positive. She so came into her own and was so responsible and stayed for eight hours every day and worked tirelessly. I thought, why am I babying her so much? She’s capable of so much more. We don’t let kids do anything. We think, Oh, they’re kids — they can’t take care of other kids; they can’t do this; they can’t do that. And after you go to Africa, you drop all that silliness.

Hard Candy drops worldwide on April 29 release. And Justin Timberlake will induct Madonna into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at NYC’s Waldorf-Astoria hotel on Monday, March 10.
