Jonas Brothers Shoots 3D Concert Movie

Joe, Kevin and Nick of Jonas Brothers shoot their 3D concert film tentatively titled Burning Up in Central Park in New York City. Country cutie singer Taylor Swift makes a cameo appearance as well.

Director Bruce Hendricks began production on July 5 and completes principal photography on September 3.

The Jonas Brothers 3-D Concert Movie will hit theaters on February 27 of 2009.

Kevin (20), Joe (18) and Nick (15) of the Jonas Brothers grace the cover and pages of Rolling Stone in The Clean Teen Machine article by Jason Gay and photographs by Max Vadukul. The issue hits newsstand on July 25.

“People seriously ask us all the time,” Kevin says. “‘Are you guys really brothers?'” Joe laughs. “It’s like, no, we named our band Jonas Brothers just for fun.”

Joe, Kevin and Nick of the Jonas Brothers will perform at 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 7.

In a press release, Kevin, Joe and Nick said: This is an awesome opportunity. We have grown up watching all the amazing and iconic performances on the VMAs. It is an honor to be a part of something so incredible.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall‘s Russell Brand will host MTV VMAs.

Kevin, Joe and Nick also appear and perform on Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz’s FNMTV Premieres series at Renmar Studio in Hollywood, California. Their new album drops on Tuesday, August 12.

According to E! online – the brothers attended the Rooney show at House of Blues (HOB) on Sunset Boulevard, watching the show from the balcony and hanging in HOB’s Foundation room.
