Empire landed the first look pix of director Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn on his motion-capture production set with actors Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis and producer Peter Jackson. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is about a young reporter – Tintin – and his dog, a terrier named Snowy traveling the world and setting off on countless adventures.

Edgar Wright [rewrite], Joe Cornish [rewrite], Steven Moffat [adaptation], Carlo Bernard [old draft] and Doug Miro [old draft] wrote the screenplay, based on Georges Hergé Remi’s The Adventures of Tintin comicstrip and arrives in theaters on 2011.

Oscar nominee Sigourney Weaver is flanked by her Death and the Maiden director Roman Polanski and Infamous co-star Toby Jones at her well-deserve tribute during the 8th Marrakesh Film Festival in Marrakech, Morocco. Congratulations to Ms. Weaver, and we love your work.

Sigourney Weaver stars in four upcoming films: The Girl In the Park, The Tale of Despereaux, Avatar and Crazy on the Outside.

The Girl In the Park: A mother, enduringly traumatized by the disappearance of her three-year old daughter 15 years ago, has cut herself off from her ex-husband and son. However, when a troubled young woman with a checkered past enters her life, old psychic wounds painfully resurface, as does the illogical and increasingly irrational hope that the young woman may be the daughter she lost so long ago.
